That’s one model, a system you can believe in and become part of — that’s the social system. And then there’s faith in God, where you refuse to follow the herd, refuse to follow those societal norms — especially today, when people have strayed even further and become truly godless. That is exactly the test of faith. You can believe in God, believe in morality, believe in ethics, work honestly, pay your taxes, stay at home, speak only with family — and watch everyone around you making easy money and driving sports cars. But then you make a choice. And that choice — that faith — that’s the question: “Why believe in God if no one else does?” But this is exactly the temptation of Satan. Satan shows you: “Look, you can be like everyone else. See all these people who live without God? Look how happy they are, they have everything, they’ll accept you right away, you’ll instantly belong. Why do you believe in God and live modestly like a black sheep, having nothing?” That’s precisely what it means to turn away from faith in God — because the masses today don’t believe in God. The masses believe more in Satan’s system. And Satan offers: “I’ll give you everything. Sing filthy songs, post half-naked photos on social media, and people will adore you, you’ll have tons of friends, you’ll make lots of money.” That’s what Satan offers. But understand this — if you agree to that, it means turning away from faith in God. That’s the third temptation: you choose a different Wi-Fi point, as I say in modern language. You choose a completely different concept of life, completely different values, regardless of how many people believe in it or not. What difference does it make? And you see, 25 years ago, I saw that people were still more or less pure and kind. But now everyone has turned into perverts — so what, should I become like all the rest? Of course not. I can hold on to that lost, older way — and that’s exactly what I’m doing. That’s why to this day I try to save myself and preserve my inner “self” through kindhearted films that still remain, back when movies were truly about love. Or when songs were written by artists about love, with real sincerity — when someone was in love and genuinely expressed that feeling. Now it’s like none of that is left — every product today gives off a sense of coldness. That’s why, for example, even vintage clothing or items are more in demand now. Personally, I’d rather buy a Japanese toy from the ’90s or ’80s, because it’s better quality than the toys being made now in 2025. Everything has turned into something unrecognizable.
