Everyone’s cutting corners now, everything is made poorly, using cheap materials — and it’s the same with music and films. And when people are surprised that I seem stuck in the past, listening to old songs and watching old movies, I simply do it because those still carry the code of love, I’d say — because that code is almost nowhere to be found anymore. If the whole world is now engulfed by Satan, and we’re in a time of darkness, then the people who create songs or movies about love — those songs or films no longer contain the actual code of love within them. That’s why I have to search for the older songs, the older films.
Another interesting interpretation: “In the treatise The Union and Translation of the Four Gospels, Leo Tolstoy gives his own interpretation of Christ’s temptation. According to Tolstoy, the Gospel story resembles a dialogue between two people: the spiritual one (Jesus) and the material one (the Devil). Jesus tries to explain that his worldview combines the material with the spiritual, with the latter having a fundamental influence on the value system. But the Devil doesn’t understand him. First, the Devil offers Jesus to satisfy his hunger, and in response, Jesus says that the needs of the stomach are not a priority for him. Then the Devil suggests that Jesus kill himself to completely escape the body; to this, Jesus indicates that he will wait for his appointed time.” That’s also important — you see, many people always want to do everything themselves, and they lack patience. But when they act on their own in a rush, it’s actually from the devil. One must always wait, and then God, the system, will lead you — or things will happen by themselves. Likewise, we must wait for our appointed time of death, and not take life into our own hands. Taking your life into your own hands — that’s from the devil, understand that. Now, continuing: “The Devil believes he’s caught Jesus in a contradiction and points to ordinary people, whose behavior seems more logical and effective: they pay attention to the needs of the flesh and successfully satisfy them. To this, Jesus replies that material goals hold no value for him.” You see, what was the final temptation? It confirms that I interpreted it correctly — the devil shows Jesus, “Look how other people live, why aren’t you like them?” See? “Come on, you can be like them” — that’s exactly how he tries to pull Jesus away from faith in God and offer belief in Satan, the very thing most people follow when they chase after satisfying their material desires. And this is such a powerful temptation —
