What I would recommend studying now to better understand what I’m talking about is definitely to read up, to google — Kepler’s solid, the star polyhedron, the four star polyhedra. You absolutely need to read about the small stellated dodecahedron and the great stellated dodecahedron. It’s as if everything is guiding me toward something... an emphasis on stars. Maybe both the first and second versions are valid — that I’m indeed on the right track, trying to figure out how to unfold these stars made of two tetrahedrons. But the point is that after the Platonic solids, after the five regular polyhedra, come the stars. There are a whole lot of different ways to construct stars, and it’s all very fascinating.
