Above, I’m showing the stellated octahedron separately from different angles — I also call it the Merkaba. Why did I specifically decide to emphasize this? Because for me it’s like a newly discovered geometric figure, a distinct one, this kind of star. It’s clear that this geometric figure is formed by two triangles. But still, when two triangles come together, it’s no longer just two triangles; it becomes this star. And as I decipher this star while working on the eighth volume, as I begin unraveling the philosopher’s stone, this star becomes very significant to me. It’s also called the Star of Hermes. It’s an alchemical star. This star often appears in various alchemical engravings, depicted in the plane as six-pointed, but in reality, in volume, it is eight-pointed, because each tetrahedron has four vertices.
