If someone had shown me these diagrams and drawings earlier — before I started physically building the matrix in 2023 — I wouldn’t have understood anything. It’s really hard to make sense of all these lines and intersections if you’ve never actually constructed the matrix yourself. Only once you build it do you truly understand everything. Now, it’s very easy for me to navigate this scheme, even though it’s not truly 3D but just a flat representation showing a 3D model from different angles. I can easily find my way around it. But before, I definitely wouldn’t have been able to. So why do I find it easy to understand all this now? Because I physically built more than 30 models — maybe even more — of these matrices. So I already know every stick, every edge, every face, every vertex. And what am I showing above? It’s four cubes, just rotating inside each other like that. Of course, it’s hard to make them out clearly, but this is just so you can roughly understand how it works. Later, if some of the most curious readers aren’t lazy, they’ll get bamboo sticks and a glue gun, build such a matrix themselves, and start rotating it. Then, when they return to this book and start reading and reviewing it again, they’ll immediately understand everything.
