And here we are in the town. And all of you, each in your own mind, you people, you think, some try to think, some strain themselves too much to think, but all of you begin to choose according to your own preferences, where to go, into which establishment, or into which alley to turn. And now imagine, the most curious thing is that someone absolutely needs to read ratings and draw conclusions that this place here is definitely good because it has many stars, many reviews, a high rating. And imagine, I have never in my life chosen a restaurant that way. I have never in my life chosen a shop that way. But there is a very large number of people who even choose their friends this way. Imagine how unreal that friendship is, choosing based on what opinions and rumors circulate about a person. Just like reviews — there are people who rely precisely on that. That is, they do not trust their inner feelings, they trust only their mind, their reasoning and analysis, and even that, the limited analysis of each world: where to go, where to travel, where it will be good and where bad. And here, you see the paradox, that if I go to some town where there are many lakes and I want to fish, then without thinking I will simply, right away the first time, choose the best place, even though everyone will suggest all sorts of other places. And if I say: well let’s now check all of yours, still, imagine, everything will come to the point that everyone returns to my first place, the one I chose without the mind. As if people need to go through trial and error, to really understand and realize why they should choose the place I chose. But I do not need that, I choose it immediately, without even thinking.
And returning to the topic of chance, here in Wikipedia it speaks about how maybe I was walking somewhere and something fell, or I slipped somewhere, or found something, or chose something by chance, ended up there — that really is chance and not with the mind. That is, if, for example, I happened to meet a celebrity, I really met them by chance. And if I want to, without planning, without chasing after them, without knowing where these celebrities are, for some reason in life I will always meet them by chance. But there are people who want to meet a celebrity, and they do it only with the mind, and I consider that false. They think: “Ah! Alexandr Korol is now in Petersburg,” and they begin, these people, let’s say, to walk intentionally
