it somewhere in a painting. Or perhaps I can place it on clothing, together with the clover or separately. The clover itself can also be made as a piece of jewelry. Even as a ring, or as a pendant — it would look beautiful. But the ladybug, I think, doesn’t need to become a piece of jewelry; it would be better to place it on a sweater. What I want is to create clothing with the clover, and with the ladybug. What’s next? I was telling all of this to a relative, and he said to me: “Have you heard of the chicken god?” I laughed so much. He said: “Don’t you know what a chicken god is? It’s a little stone with a hole in it — a chicken god.” And I thought: “What is going on?!” So many new things are opening up to me. And it is so wonderful that this ninth volume of “Alternative History” is such a magical one — truly, this ninth volume feels as though it is entirely about magic. Yesterday Big Alexander spent an entire hour telling me about Buratino and how he opened the door with his little key — that it was not just a simple story. And the same goes for the hag stone — a stone with a natural hole in it. You can Google it, read about it, take note of it. I don’t know whether I should make such a pendant. On the other hand, creating it artificially would also be wrong. I simply need to keep in mind that if I am walking along a shore somewhere and see stones lying about, I should look closely; if I come across a stone with a hole, that again will be Fortune. And even more interesting is this: there is also the wishbone, taken from a cooked domestic bird and cleaned, which is often used in divinations and games. For that reason, it received its second name — the bone of wishes. Typically, it is broken into two parts. The bone of wishes — especially in English, where it is called the wishbone — is also found everywhere. At first I ignored it, thinking it was unimportant, but of course I was surprised to discover that on many ancient talismans there was this symbol, like an inverted letter “V.” I never understood what that little branch-like shape was — and it turns out it was a chicken bone. But they made it out of silver. And imagine — whenever I turn on some film or series now, everyone has this little bone hanging around their neck. I was shocked. Before, it was as though this had never even been “loaded” into my system — I had simply never noticed it. But now I see it everywhere. And in a way that is good, because through these elements I am connecting myself even more to luck, to Fortune,
