And I, simply what I feel, that I do. And here again the system makes an emphasis that I should pay attention, necessarily recall once more and read once more who Kalki is and look at how he looks. There is not so very much written about him, but as if this is very important. I think, fine, and now I already see, on the basis of previous experience, that always, when I am working on some theme, some volume, then in this volume already begins at moments to manifest information not of this volume, but of the next, as if as preparation. And so everything that now I am touching upon about Buddhism, about Hinduism, this is as if now such a pause, a commercial pause about the next volume. And as if now I must be distracted by this, and distract my reader, and then return again to amulets, talismans, symbols of luck, and off it goes. But now for the moment the theme is Kalki — “the messiah in Hinduism — the avatar of Vishnu, his tenth incarnation. Vishnu in this avatar is depicted white on a black horse or, on the contrary, black on a white horse. In his hand he has a blazing sword, with which he exterminates enemies, destroys the world and restores dharma,
thereby preparing the future rebirth of the destroyed world. This is the only ‘future,’ messianic avatar of Vishnu, and it will occur according to Hindu chronology at the end of Kali Yuga, that is, the present historical period, the beginning of which falls on 3102 BC. The duration of Kali Yuga is 432 thousand years. This is the worst of the yugas. People are subject to their own ruinous passions, they are overcome by malice, fear, stupidity, hatred, and other vices.” Further here it is written: “The hour will strike, and the twice-born will appear” — this I like very much. Again, the twice-born, not for nothing. “The hour will strike, and the twice-born by the name of Kalki Vishnuyasha will appear, endowed with great strength, mind, and power. He will appear into the world in a worthy Brahman family in the village of Sambhala, and by the power of spirit will revive weapons and all kinds of means of transport, warrior attire, armor, and cuirasses. This king, conquering by dharma, will take supreme power and will bring peace into the restless world. The shining Brahman, lofty in thought, having appeared (to the world), will put an end to destruction. Thus the universal ruin will become the beginning of a (new) yuga.” Universal ruin, you see? All must understand that then a new yuga will come, from rebirth, as it seems to me.
