In the New Testament

In the New Testament, in the Apocalypse, the Tree of Life is the tree in the midst of paradise (the Heavenly Jerusalem).
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” (Rev. 2:7).

“In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the Tree of Life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Rev. 22:2).”

Well, this is curious, that precisely in the Bible, in the Revelation of John the Theologian, the “Apocalypse,” to this all comes, precisely, you see, to him that overcomes. That is, only he who overcomes this Mara, all this darkness, who conquers this dark power within himself, that one will enter into the sky and that one will taste the fruits of the Tree of Life.

There is also in Wikipedia a section Tree of Life, but mythology. “The Tree of Life (Paradise Tree) is a mythological image in many cultures. In the Slavic folk tradition it is a variant of the World Tree. In folklore it is a motif reflecting the concept of the biblical Tree of Life in the midst of paradise (Gen. 2:9). The concept of the Tree of Life was used in religion, philosophy, and mythology. It denotes the interconnectedness of all life on the planet and serves as a metaphor for common origin in the evolutionary sense.

The term Tree of Life may also be used as a synonym for the Sacred Tree. The Tree of Knowledge, connecting the heavens and the underworld, as well as the Tree of Life, connecting all forms of life, are both forms of the World Tree or Cosmic Tree, and are depicted in different religions and philosophies as one and the same tree.”
