I have this written down directly in my notebook: “Do not argue, do not react,
do not expect justice, do not ask questions, yield, let the person voice their
opinion and correct it only slightly, by no more than 50%. Make pauses in
conversation, in dialogue with any person, and listen to the voice first.” These
are my rules that I quickly scribbled down. And as it turns out, I remembered
that I used to be like this when I heard the voice very clearly all the time. I
communicated with the voice of the aliens when I was still a child. And truly,
no matter what a person said or how they acted — whether in work or anything
else (and you see, my life is mostly connected to work) — I didn’t have that
sharp reaction, that need to show the person their mistake, or the feeling
that it could somehow hurt me. But over the many years I spent with people,
as they were constantly trying to deceive me, I changed. I transformed and
began to always expect nothing but betrayal, manipulation, cunning, and
irresponsibility from everyone. I became obsessed with it, always seeing
it, always correcting it. And now the aliens are telling me that I should no
longer be doing this; it is not my task. They are hinting again and saying:
“Remember, we told you to let go of control? You must let go of control.
Let go of everything. Let it go. If you want to be deified, let it go. Forgive
everyone and everything. And let them be exactly who they are, as they
are meant to be. Let them behave as they behave.” And the point is, they
are right. I’ll use that example again because it fits so well — the story about
cheating. A woman was hurt because her husband cheated, and she was
hurt because she is in that situation as a human. That means she is still…
Let’s put it this way, it’s just a play on words — she is not an alien yet, do
you understand? Because if she wanted to be, or were an alien, would
she really react to a mere mortal man who, I don’t know, washed her
sweater and the color bled, or even if he did something “terrible” and
cheated? She should not give a damn about these human deeds if she is a
deity or an alien. But if she reacts to it, and especially if she gets angry or
offended, then she is still human. And so they tell me: “What are you doing?
Alex, wake up, come to your senses! How can you possibly care if an
employee smokes a cigarette? Who cares. He stole something, lied, and
he has twenty more stories like that that he hasn’t confessed to you. And
what do you want? Why? Do you want to satisfy your ego by having him
