Mystic-Old-Man: Everything is heading that way.
Alexandr: Fine. So, about the colonizers. Could it be that all the poor Third
World countries are about to enter a golden age, while those who were
at the helm will go down instead?
Mystic-Old-Man: It is so, because the ability to get an education and the
opportunity to get an education is becoming available to all who desire it.
If a poor person wants to get that education, they will get it. Just through a
different path; they will assemble it from such “spare parts” that it would
seem utterly impossible to us. Nevertheless, it is so. Because if a child sees
this game on the computer all the time, sooner or later they begin to switch
on — beyond this game, the synaptic connections that arise in a child force
them to switch into something else, and something else, and something
additional, and more, and more. And they build up such connections
that several professors simultaneously couldn’t develop.
Alexandr: Are you talking about some new generation of people, specifically
children?
Mystic-Old-Man: No, I am talking about the process. I am only talking
about the process.
Alexandr: I understand. Fine. Next. It’s interesting that in the Bible
there is a mention that after the 144,000 people are gathered and selected,
three angels trumpet three events regarding the fall of Babylon, and those
who, let’s say, turned away from God and connected to the system — that
is, to the devil — everyone faces punishment. My question is: does this refer
to our time? That the people who worshipped this old system that is now
in decline will face trouble?
Mystic-Old-Man: No, that is a model for faith.
Alexandr: Well, fine, but what about people who, let’s say... I mean, I have clearly
and plainly observed even in my 30 years that if you behave like a scoundrel,
you get away with everything and you’re doing fine. But if you are a “proper”
believer with old values, you sit there like a black sheep. It feels like the time
is coming when the black sheep will finally step out of the shadows, and those
who rejoiced and did whatever they wanted — it will be the end for all of them.
Mystic-Old-Man: But that is still a model for faith.
