Chapter 27. World of Earth, World of Sun

There are also some very interesting notes. Imagine the situation: three
weeks ago I am sleeping, and suddenly there is a ring at the door, very loud,
I startle. That is, I was sleeping, it was dark outside, it was four in the
morning and some minutes. I look at the cameras — there is no one, no one
approached the door, no one rang the bell. I think: “I probably just dreamed it.”
But it’s strange, because it was as if it were real; I actually jumped up. And I
always react calmly, but here it was as if someone held that bell to my ear
and started ringing it. I think: “Well, just a dream. Just the doorbell ring was
stored in my memory and rang like that in my dream.” Although I did wonder,
of course, that it wasn’t for nothing — that it was as if one of the higher
powers woke me up like that specifically for something. A week passes,
I am in a hotel, generally, let’s say, a thousand kilometers away, in a completely
different city, sleeping. The same ring, I jump up. And what kind of doorbell
is there? There is no doorbell there. Especially not the same one. And the
time, do you know what time? Again, four in the morning and some minutes.
And I think: “I don’t understand, what is this? Why are they waking me up
like this?” Well, I decided not to give it any importance, because, well, what is
there? What can I add to the book from this? Nothing. Why put this in the book?
And then on October 5th — it’s written here — I write to my employee, asking
how she is doing. And she says that she had a dream where I am calling her,
and she actually startled and woke up, at approximately the same time, at four
in the morning. Well, I tell her about my rings and say that since that’s the case,
maybe someone else had a ring like that too. It means I definitely have to add
this to the book now, since there is such a paradox. Well, so, I am adding it.
Who is calling us in the night — I don’t know. But it is some kind of sign.
