Friend: Well, yes, of course... I can put it in slightly different words.
There are moments when we are doing something where, in a short period
of time, we can get so many things done...
Alexandr: As much as a person would normally do in three years.
Friend: Well, relatively speaking.
Alexandr: But we do it in a month.
Friend: We just got together and, in this vacuum — I don’t know what
to call it...
Alexandr: You can call it a vacuum. It truly feels like separate, isolated bubbles.
Friend: It’s as if, yes, like a bubble. Time flows — well, it flows as it does —
but within that hour or those 24 hours, we’ve done a week’s worth of work in
just one day. And if we spend a second day in this bubble, and all the people
we immerse in this — let’s call it a bubble... it turns out that in a week,
roughly speaking, we complete a tenfold volume of work. And then, when
we step out of it, we look back and see that we’ve built a house, for example,
or something like that.
Alexandr: While an ordinary person would have only just started thinking
about it during that week.
Friend: Exactly. And it’s very interesting that you have this…
Alexandr: But do you agree that... I’m just curious. Do you realize that this
only happens with me? Or have you ever noticed this with anyone else?
Friend: Well, personally, I experience this specifically with you. Only with you.
Alexandr: It’s just that I’ve never heard this said about anyone else, anywhere.
But everyone who knows me says the same thing — that it’s only like this
with me.
Friend: It’s a fact, it’s a fact.
Alexandr: All the other employees say it, not just you. Remember? They
explicitly said that... Even when I was in a relationship, everyone said that
a month of life felt like several years.
Friend: Well, you said you’re a skeptic, but you know me — I’m even more
of a skeptic. I’m almost like...
Alexandr: The ultimate “suffocatingly tedious” person.
Friend: Yes, the ultimate “stifling” skeptic, okay.
Alexandr: A non-believer in anyone or anything.
