Friend: A maximally “boring” guy. But at the same time, what I feel, I feel.
What I say, I always stand by.
Alexandr: Just so you understand, listeners — especially those people of pure
intellect who also believe in nothing and feel nothing — this man before
you is an engineer, an airfield designer. So there you go. Anyway, what else?
Go on, you “stifling” skeptic. So, you remember that not only you, but other
people have always said this too?
Friend: Yes, of course, of course. Relatively speaking, all the people who
are in our circle — or can be in it, let’s say. Not everyone can be in the inner
circle of trusted people. Let’s call it that. But yes, for all the people in that
circle, if we start producing something, or doing something, or building and
implementing — it doesn’t matter what — it happens ten times faster because
of you. That’s exactly how it is.
Alexandr: But that only happens when people don’t suppress my will,
when you don’t try to correct my algorithm or my approach. That is, when
you yield to me and act as additional assistants rather than obstacles. Because
if someone obstructs me, that speed doesn’t ignite; the miracle doesn’t
launch. And then everything is done very slowly, painfully, and with great
difficulty. In the end, it doesn’t even lead to anything. So, it turns out that
all those moments of “switching on” happened when? When I was “in the
Spirit,” you could say. Truly, when you can’t even argue with me or get a word
in edgewise. And you all sort of realize that you don’t need to worry about me.
Like, you don’t need to stress over my decisions because I am absolutely
certain. You feel that certainty, that there’s no point in... I mean, if I
said, “That’s it, we’re doing it,” there’s no point in saying anything else.
You understand yourself that it simply will be, or that’s how it must be.
And that’s it. Time truly shifted like that. And later, I remember when we
discussed this a couple of days ago after you arrived, regarding the city of
St. Petersburg. I compare it to the same thing — and you, as an engineer,
understand this even better than I do — it is physically impossible to
build such a city in such a short timeframe. Even if we assume it was built,
the objects couldn’t have been built sequentially, one after another; they had
to be built in parallel. And if so, what kind of volume are we talking about?
The sheer scale of construction force required? Money, sure, and they say
all the money was poured into it. But even so, it’s physically impossible.
