Chapter 32. Getting wiser

Well, the number 144 continues to haunt me to this day.

I had a call with Big Alexander. The connection was poor, of course; a lot was
cutting out. From what I managed to hear… Well, I told him about the first
situation — and the readers have noticed it too — that someone is acting as if
they are in a reversed world. What is this, why is it happening? The connection
was too bad to ask for details, and half of what he said was interrupted. But
from what I understood, he said that I am on “another planet” now — that was
his expression. Well, “another planet” means a different plane. And from
there, I am looking back at what was, and I am gaining wisdom to understand
something — growing wiser, so to speak. Then I said to him:

— Fine, so I was somewhere over there on that side, and now I am on the
other. But are there two worlds there and two worlds here? Or are there four
worlds there and four worlds here?

And he answered in such a complex way, plus the connection kept breaking.
He said:

— There are people who see everything by dividing it by two. There are
people who see everything by dividing it by four. There are people who divide
everything and see everything by dividing it by seven. And there are people
who see everything by dividing it by twelve.

And then he hinted again that it depends on wisdom. Well, I am gaining
wisdom now, so I should be able to see it all soon. So, there was no concrete
answer. I said to him:

— It’s just strange overall. I mean, the system is doing this on purpose. It’s
not that people in the world are glitching, and it’s not a coincidence that I
run into them. Truly, no matter where I go or what I interact with... Even if I
decide to have soft-close doors installed on my car, something will happen.
