And I’m talking to this man — his name is Yura, by the way — and he tells
me… and this is also very unusual. I have so many mystical stories, certain
moments, even dreams I’ve had connected to St. Petersburg and the
people who appeared in my life. It’s not simple; all the people in my life are
very far from simple, especially since my childhood.
So this Yuri, from the special services — a billionaire, an oligarch, a Petersburger
— he speaks to me like I’m a child. I was about 20 or 21 then; it must have been
2011 when I was talking to him.
He says to me:
— Alex, look, we don’t do things like that — sending messengers to people.
That’s not our profile at all.
— But who is it? Who is behind this? You know everything; you control
everything. Who else can I turn to and ask what this is? You know me — you
know I’m not lying to you. I’m telling you exactly how it is, and you know it.
He knew I was super honest, principled, a real hard worker, because I worked
for them. So I asked him:
— Well, what am I supposed to do? What’s happening to me?
— Nothing. I can’t help you with this. It’s definitely not any kind of special
services.
And here was a very interesting moment. If he hadn’t believed me at all or
thought I was just a fool, he would have simply said goodbye and told me,
“Alex, go back to work.” But instead, he told me a personal story, which
means he felt me and was moved by what was happening to me. He told me
that in his entire life, he had encountered only one person similar to me —
with all these paradoxes, miracles, and oddities. He didn’t say he met
him personally; he used the word “we,” likely referring to the services,
the special forces, or whoever. Just one person. He was someone in St.
Petersburg back in the nineties who owned a casino on Vladimirskaya, or
somewhere around there. This man, he said, just appeared out of nowhere.
