I went to visit Big Alexander and started telling him this in person. And he says:
— That is the Spirit of the Earth. They are hinting to you that you must unite
one Spirit with this Spirit; you must accept both.
Well, this is all about the same thing again: black and white, and all that.
He tells me it’s the Spirit of the Earth, the Spirit of the Forest, and that I
named it correctly — that it’s ravens, snakes, all that magical, enchanted stuff.
He says Baba Yaga, the owl — it’s all part of it. He says it’s a superpower
and tells me that I must gather it all together, take a saucer, put some food
on it, and say thank you. I did exactly that. And now I keep it all at home,
gathered together, and I say “thank you” to it. This power is very, very serious.
Big Alexander tells me that these are my helpers, this is my protection —
this power I am getting to know, which I must accept. He says that when
he walks down the street, ravens can communicate with him. He explained
it specifically, but I won’t repeat it because I don’t want to make mistakes.
But he spoke directly about how a raven should act, how many there should
be, how it should caw, how it should look at him, or whether it should walk
in front of him or turn around. It all means something.
