And what’s most interesting is that, at the time, I didn’t understand which version was the right one. Because the first version — the way I started to spin out my matrix — was to copy the same cube and turn it in one direction; copy the cube and turn it in another direction as well; copy the cube and turn it in a third direction. And out of four cubes in different directions, it came out, as it were, all twisted into one another. And it was, as it were, a three-dimensional star. And actually, thanks to this — for those who remember — that’s how I found the sphere inside, that is, the orb, or the halo — all this happened back then in the eighth volume. But further on I started to copy and clone it all even more, and I understood that there is the cube, but every cube also has its insides. And above every cube there are wheels, and how these wheels are positioned is the arrangement of a dodecahedron. And the dodecahedron is a little sphere made of pentagons — and there have to be two dodecahedra on every cube, on every matrix. And here I understood — if I make four copies of my matrix and place them inside one another, simply turning them in different directions, and if every one of my matrices has so many insides, and if also on the outside of every matrix, on every cube, there are two dodecahedra — that is, oh-wow, how many cubes that adds up to. And why? Because if you depict a dodecahedron on a cube and also draw all the crosses from its vertices — that means depicting a five-pointed star on every side of the dodecahedron — we get even more cubes thanks to this. And if on the cube we don’t have one dodecahedron, but two, then we get a great many cubes, that is, it’s in different dimensions too.
And I kept poking at it, let me put it that way — “poking” in quotation marks — at what was being highlighted to me back then, when I was deciphering all this, when I was working on the eighth volume. I knew that it was still not the whole story, because if it had been fully deciphered, it would have been palpable to the reader too, reading the eighth volume — and to me. I understood that I just needed, as it were, to stop and take a breather. They told me, and showed me, just like that — that’s enough; sooner or later I would come back to this.
