as if practically there where he is. And when I spoke with him, time and space would get lost to such a degree that I would, as it were, not even see where I was. I would go off there to the interlocutor with my consciousness so completely that I couldn’t even give an account of where I was. At that moment, while speaking on the phone, I might even not understand whether I was at home or out on the street. That is — all of this would disappear, and my consciousness would be only there, on the other side, on the opposite side of the phone — that is, on the side of the interlocutor. And I could feel things at that moment. That is — I would, as it were, end up where he was, and would end up, as it were, in his body. I could fully say: he is over there — I am talking with the person on the phone. I say: “And why do you have, over there, your left foot, or heel, hurting?” — and he’s in shock. And then I say: “Listen, you are standing — your back is getting a draft from the left there — a cold air just came in from there.” He answers: “No way — how do you do that?” I say: “I don’t know. I have simply become you.” Can you imagine what kind of power that is? And all of this is for real — everything I am telling about, it was like that for me back then. I didn’t understand who I was, and I wanted to find this out. But no one could hint me or explain to me what was happening to me, who I was. And so this was manifesting itself. And it turns out that I was afraid to speak on the phone, because I would get lost in time and space even more strongly, and could just — well, at that moment — be lost, that is. Well, what does it mean to be lost? Well — imagine — in half an hour, I don’t know — a friend is supposed to come to me, and suddenly there is a call right now from some other person. And if I answer the call, I will forget about the half-hour and about the friend. I’ll get lost in time and forget that someone is waiting for me out there in the street, you understand, that someone has come for me. That’s what the trick is. And I couldn’t control this at all, in any way — it was impossible. And when I spoke on the phone, I couldn’t stop until the interlocutor himself ended the phone conversation. I would just speak, I would be completely in this, and that’s it — as consciousness. And then, only when the phone conversation ended, would I return back, as it were, to my own home. But at that moment, my attention had been completely stolen, captured. And back then, these unusual rules appeared for me: that there must be no calls on the phone, no notifications, no pop-up windows, no vibrations — nothing that would take away my attention. And if I was supposed to speak with someone on the phone,
