of people, I could still, since it hadn’t been forgotten yet, recall something from that world from memory like this, and immediately become like that. And so I remember the moment when I met up with a girl — we were standing on the balcony, it seems — and she says:

— What is this? How are you doing this?
— In what sense?
— This is hypnosis!
— What? I don’t know what hypnosis is, I don’t believe in it.
— No — I had already noticed this the last time — it was the same way then.
— What?
— Well — I am communicating with you right now, and I am starting to get lost in time, in space — I don’t understand anything at all, all the thoughts are getting erased. What are you doing?
— I’m not doing anything.

Because you, people, live in this, and see this, and feel this — and I myself end up in this same thing, and everything starts to irritate me. And if this person — everything that he has — I would start to feel it, but this is because of the fact that I had started listening to his story, and had ended up, as if through his story, in his world. But if I had met up with a person at a restaurant and started talking with him about “Alternative History,” that is, about something otherworldly — would tell him about how I had been at the hospital and had felt the woman, and that this is empathy —
