and I am not?” And he says: “Yes.” I answer: “Well, alright. Fine — I am letting you go.” And so, in this way, I have already let go of about seven people, maybe, in three months. Can you imagine? Some others are still holding on, and only because, sort of, these people aren’t doing harm. That is — they sort of just have a clouding, but they aren’t dangerous to me. And that’s why I still keep certain people nearby, but they aren’t themselves. That is — I don’t even know how to write to them, or to call them — they are simply not themselves. What awaits them next? How does this work, what? How will they come to their senses? I don’t know. But I am simply being this witness here. That is — different people appear, and I see — whether they immediately wake up and become super-aware upon contact with me, and blossom, or already share how they have blossomed, tell about how they feel everything, see everything, are aware of everything, and how grateful they are for my books. Or someone, on the contrary, is simply in the fog, in the clouds, on his own mind — and it more closely resembles, in fact, egoism. That is — the people who are right now under the influence of this Last Judgment — they aren’t, after all, reading my books, because they are reading others. And with the kind of position: “and how are other authors worse than you?” — with that kind of position. And everything is, with them, their own way; they have their own interests. Just as if they were offended at the world, and they so don’t let the Will of God into themselves, so don’t yield to anyone, that it’s as if, out of principle, they don’t want to listen to their parents, or to their friends, or to anyone, or to society — but they think: “I myself know how I want to look, what to eat, what to watch, what to do.” And so they are all like that — but their whole life is collapsing, everything is bad for them. Their whole surroundings, all their relatives, those close to them want to tell them this, these people in the daze. And these people in the daze tell them: “Yeah, it’s you who are living wrong — and I am living right.” And the person, just imagine, who is telling you this, is already in holey socks, in debts, and tomorrow the debt collectors are going to tear off his ears. And he tells you, all the relatives, the friends, that it is you who is wrong, that it is you who is living wrong. Can you imagine? That is the kind of thing I am now seeing. Especially in this last January and February. So this icon with the ladder is about this. And I like that at the top — pay attention — those who have climbed up, they have halos, and the table with the goblets. Bear it in mind.
