The more correct way is when day’s opposite is night. And evening’s opposite is
morning. And there it is — the crossing. And so, if you make a cross, depict day
at the top, night at the bottom, evening on the left, morning on the right, and
then also select everything else under these groups — but the selection I gave was
correct — what do we have at the top, what is then above the head, if it is day? I
have it recorded somewhere here too, what fits under day. At the top — south,
summer, the element earth, Saint Matthew. And the opposite? If day, south are
at the top, then at the bottom is north — winter, Saint Mark, ether, the kingdom
of the dead. On the left hand we take evening — west, autumn, Saint Luke, the
element water — and on the right hand, that is, morning — is heaven for us, east,
spring, Saint John, air. So there it is.
