draw logical conclusions, and understand that everything is fine. Today it starts
to seem to him that everything is bad, and he thinks that everything was always
bad, over all five years. He draws a conclusion about his whole life based on
today’s mood. He thinks that he has always had this mood, his whole life. He
doesn’t understand that it appeared in him only in the last week, or in the last
six months, or in the last year. And that a year ago he was a different person — he
doesn’t understand this. For this reason, in many places in the books and in the
treatises, I mentioned that it is very important for a person to keep a diary every
day, without fail. To write down every day, based on the cycles, how he feels and
what he thinks in the morning, what he feels and thinks during the day, what he
feels and thinks in the evening or at night, when he writes the diary before sleep.
And so every day. And then one has to compare, when the week has passed, and
to draw conclusions about each day: which day was light, which was dark, which
was spiritual, which was material, which was the “corridor” or the Spirit. And
then, when the month has passed, one has to compare each week and weigh it:
which of these weeks was which — more dark, more light, more spiritual, more
material. Then, when another month has passed, a person has to compare the
previous month with the month that is now ending. Compare them and weigh
them. And then remember the last three months or the last six months.
And what is most interesting is that, if a person doesn’t get lazy right now, and
after this information I am sharing, asks himself what his mood was… What
was your mood, reader, five months ago. Five months ago, what month was
that? What was your mood, what were your thoughts, and what were your desires
five months ago? Then ask yourself: four months ago, what were your mood,
desires, thoughts? And three months ago, what were you doing? Really strain
your brain, remember every week of that month, how it was happening. And
then you remember the second month in the same way, and this month, the one
that’s happening now, and you compare all of it, and you understand that you
were so many different versions of yourself — it’s just wow — and everything was
changing for you: mood, and thoughts, and desires, and perception of everything,
and attitude towards everything. But people don’t do this, and so it turns out
that they base themselves on the latest emotions, thoughts, and feelings. They
base themselves on the last month, on these illusions, and draw conclusions
