Chapter 16. About the Spirit

And so I’ll go on recording this state in the Spirit, how I abide in it, what the
difference is. And it’s as if it’s a direct cast, that is, a snapshot of this world, of the
Spirit specifically. I was in it before, which is why I now often have memories of
my former self in childhood, when I was in this state, when I looked at the world
this way. And from the recent observations that I recorded for myself, wrote
down in a note, is that it’s as if you live by feelings. You simply have one particular
feeling of yourself, and that’s it — everything that’s truly to your liking, you feel
that your very soul responds, which means it’s yours. If I have no inner response,
and the feelings inside somehow don’t awaken towards something, that means
it’s not mine. That is, you simply live by feelings, by sensations, that everything
must directly respond. Whatever responds is yours. But it’s a paradox. Such a rule
can’t be applied to any other person who isn’t in the Spirit. Because if a person is
in one of the four worlds and does this, trouble will happen. And it’s only when
you reach the level of the Spirit that this rule works — that you really can trust your
feelings and all your thoughts. All your thoughts and feelings are pure. But I’d
even say that there are no thoughts here, there’s simply your consciousness, you’re
here and now, and you simply feel. There’s simply some feeling of happiness, and
that’s it. It weakens a little, strengthens a little, depending on what you look at,
on what’s offered to you, and you have a reaction of feelings to this, and so you
lean on these feelings. That’s how it works. That is, you live by feelings.

Another curious thing I noticed is that you have such a light head, and you’re
so elevated, so inspired, as if super happy, super confident. In the most literal
sense I want to say it’s as if you’re on heightened vibrations. So that if, let’s say, I
begin talking with a person, then on these heightened vibrations I can talk with
them, we speak about something lofty, about the deep, about the soulful, about
the spiritual. But if a person starts trying to bring up some everyday matter with
me, then I can answer about the everyday too. Figuratively speaking, to say: “Yes,
this car is a good one,” “Which of these two dishes did you like? This one on the
left.” That is, I can answer that way. But if a person specifically starts to immerse
me in their low rhythm, asking me questions of precisely the kind where you
have to really strain and be under tension, then it’s as if you can’t focus into it.
