Even while talking with me, they don’t listen to me so as to become absorbed in
my story, in my life. Instead they only look at me with such a greedy, jackal-like
approach, only so as to extract something from it that they’ll like, for themselves,
and try it on their own account. And this is from fear, from insecurity, from
the mind that a person behaves this way. And I see that they all keep wanting
something. And I noticed such a difference — what is it that distinguishes me
now, the way I am, the one who shines, from those who don’t shine? They all
want something, and I want nothing. Nothing at all. Not from them, not from
other people, not from the world — I want nothing. I simply am, and I’m happy.
Whereas they all want something, and because of this they have a kind of fuss
about them. Maybe what else I was noticing now. This is me going through my
notes now and seeing what — after I held a varying number of meetings there
with various people — this is what I noted for myself.

So further I recorded that all people — before any undertaking, before
any meeting, before any matter even of their hobby, those who are lost and
extinguished — they first want to understand everything, to prepare, to calculate,
to do it in some habitual way, in the comfort zone. And there’s no faith at all, only
doubts and fears. And on the basis of doubts and fears they have this seething
mind, with which they keep analyzing everything, calculating, comparing, and
doing something, some matter of their own. But in reality it all comes down
to faith — that you must simply believe and do — and they don’t have this. This
is what I saw, what happens with extinguished people. I also gave an example,
precisely for such a person too, an example like this about Olya and Oleg. I say
that, you understand, here — I say — you were 20 years old, figuratively speaking.
You’re Oleg. And so you met Olya, and Olya is 20 years old. And so you easily built
a relationship. You felt an attraction to each other, and built a relationship. And,
as it were, come what may, and everything’s kind of wonderful and easy. But now,
at 35, if Olya meets Oleg, Oleg meets Olya, and they’re each 35 years old, then
Oleg begins to think: “Oh, she lives on the outskirts, you have to travel more
than an hour to get to her every time. More than an hour of time, standing in
traffic jams. And then, oh, I’ve also got renovation going on at home right now,
so how am I going to live with her?” And Olya likewise thinks something. And so
they all think and think, and because of this they never do build a relationship,
