— Back then I seemed to control everything in life more than now. So why is it that
back then, in the past, at 20 everything worked out, and now it doesn’t? Seems I
controlled more back then at 20 than now at 35.
— You controlled. Yes. Mind is one word, but under the word “mind” a great deal
is implied, certain qualities, as it were, that are from the world of the mind.
Maybe back then you had more control than now. But that’s control. And what
about soul-searching? Did you have more or less soul-searching back then at
20 than now?
— Less.
— There. And now it’s more, and that too is mind. There are different kinds of
mind.
Take this on note too. It’s as if here I am, after all, comparing right now, giving
all these examples, in the format of comparison, only in order to show people
how to come to the light and what deprives them of this light. And you know,
this trite, generally accepted, pop-culture sort of formula works interestingly
here, when they say that “if something happened or is going to happen, then let
go of the situation,” right? Have you heard such a thing? The phrase: “let go of
the situation.” Here it fits. If right now you want to become light, the Spirit, a
star — well, a star in the sense of shining — then you need to let go of the situation.
What does it come down to? That person who wants something, and wants a
great many things, from clients, from customers, from the opposite sex. And if
this happens right along with a heaviness in the head, that he’s really seething
there over something and calculating something for himself, then on the subtle
plane he’s already pushing everyone and everything away from himself. That’s
why people aren’t drawn to him, but simply give him a wide berth because of
this heaviness. Because you want so much, you want everything from everyone.
That’s not allowed — you mustn’t want anything from anyone, it’s downright a sin,
darkness. I see people who show an interest in me, so as to meet with me, and they
meet with me not so that I’d share my world, and so that I’d simply tell them how
I am, and they’ll tell how they are — instead, they want something. Somewhere
there in the subconscious are ulterior thoughts, this wanting of something, the
main thing being that it give them this certain something. Because they need
that thing, because they’re surviving, they’re afraid, they need money, success,
