Chapter 21. The Shadow after the Presentation

On April ninth I held an online conference, my presentation, where readers
gathered who wished to listen to me live. And this was a little experiment of mine
like that. I simply wanted to share how I shine, if I may put it that way. To show
what it is, this thing that I’d been in the Spirit for a month. So it turns out that on
March ninth I was at the Nine Inch Nails concert, on March tenth in Los Angeles
I walked out of the hotel into nowhere… I renounced everything and went off
into nowhere, and no matter for how long — I simply warned all my relatives and
friends about it, that I’d disappear, vanish, maybe for a month, maybe for two,
maybe for a year, maybe not come back at all. I renounced everything. Work, all
my affairs, all the everyday routine, everything material — even all my things
stayed behind in the hotel. And I didn’t know what would happen next. That is, I
simply planned to walk out and go wherever my eyes led me. Maybe then get on a
train and go to Chicago, from there with a transfer to New York, or get on a plane
and fly off somewhere, maybe even to another country entirely.

But the main thing was that I mustn’t return to anything old at all, and there was
to be no connection and no contact with anything old whatsoever. However much
money I simply had at that moment, without any preparation, that’s what I exist
on. And then, that means, I’ll go work somewhere. That is, in essence, I had a
bank card, some cash, a passport, and that’s it. I didn’t even have a laptop, or
clothes, or anything else, so as not to be attached to anything. When I walked out
of the hotel, I’d only just to step out of the lobby onto the street, and something
had already happened. That is, it had already happened at the moment when I
came out of the room and went downstairs to the ground floor. And when I step
out onto the street, I already feel something… As if my body becomes super light,
or as if it disappears altogether. There are no thoughts. You’re as if here and now.
Very similar to the state I experienced when I left home at 17. Very similar. And it
turned out that this was enough. It turned out that I didn’t need to go anywhere,
it turned out that it didn’t take much time. Everything happened simply when
I came downstairs. Of course, if some person now, taking me as an example,
artificially tries to repeat such a thing, then it won’t work for him. Because
he’ll already subconsciously know that it’s temporary and that he’ll return,
