When I was in this darkness, in the eclipse, or however to call it, in the dark
star, I don’t know… I was jammed, and at the same time I was in a single flow of
time, like people are. And I noticed yesterday-today that this flickering of mine
has appeared again. Depending on what dialogue I’m building and with whom,
on what I’m reflecting about, on what I’m doing, a distortion of time and space
occurs. And while I’m, let’s say, two hours at a massage, in reality I was gone for
several years. When I was dictating something into a note for the book for myself,
then I’d end up in some distortion of time and space. While I ate and watched the
series, time distorted differently again. That is, that’s how it works, that’s how
I now live in general, exist. I remember how I once called the mystic-old-man,
when I was working on some volume of the novel “Alternative History,” and
asked him about this, and he said that this is how it’ll go on always, I’ll simply
get used to it. It was, I think, the third volume, and I asked him: “So when will
these movements through the worlds end?” And I flicker like this, now there,
now here, into different times. And I’m in the Spirit while at it, and this is fine,
unlike when I was jammed. That was, of course, so-so. As if they’d shut me in
some little box.

Today is May 7th, 2026. I’m not looking through all my notes that I’ve recorded.
But since the moment the Spirit returned… It had disappeared for me for a
short while. I called it not something dark, bad, but I called it a shadow or
an eclipse. I still haven’t figured out why it happened and how often it will
happen, or, possibly, I was supposed to include this information in the book,
so that the reader wouldn’t worry if something similar happens with him. But
the Spirit returned. The Spirit returned at the end of April, and all this time
I’m in the Spirit. Now I’ll tell about the adventures… More precisely, I want
to warn right away: I’ll muddle it all up, mix it up, everything will get swapped
around, all the days will get confused. What I’m going to describe now — I might
say that something was on the first day, when in reality it was on the third
day. So, as I always warned before, and this is important, that when I’m in
the Spirit, I can repeat myself, repeat one and the same thing. It’s normal,
because when you’re in the Spirit, even the mistakes, they’re needed and magical.
