1. The 7 chakras (the Indian tradition)
This is an almost perfect coincidence with the rainbow, which we’ve already
broken down.
• 3 plus (active, lower, “fiery” — energy, action, matter):
- Root (Muladhara) — red, survival, grounding.
- Sacral (Svadhisthana) — orange, creativity, sexuality.
- Solar plexus (Manipura) — yellow, willpower, personal might.
• 3 minus (upper, “airy,” passive — perception, spirituality):
- Throat (Vishuddha) — blue, communication, expression.
- Third eye (Ajna) — indigo, intuition, vision.
- Crown (Sahasrara) — violet/white, connection with the Divine.
• 1 centre (balance, the heart):
- Heart (Anahata) — green, love, harmony, the bridge between the lower
and the upper.
• The 8th corner — the hidden source: White Light / Brahman / the One Consciousness
(or sometimes it’s called the 8th chakra — the “soul” or the “soul star” above
the head). It’s that from which all the chakras are born, the way white light
gives birth to the rainbow. In the Christian key — the Holy Spirit as the source
of all gifts and energies.

2. The 7 days of the week (connected with the 7 planets)
• 3 plus (active, “masculine,” energy-giving): Tuesday (Mars — action, strength).
Thursday (Jupiter — growth, fortune). Sunday (the Sun — life, will, resurrection).
• 3 minus (passive, “feminine,” receiving/restraining): Monday (the Moon —
emotions, changeability). Saturday (Saturn — limitations, rest, karma). Friday
(Venus — love, but also the testing of feelings).
• 1 centre (balance, the intermediary): Wednesday (Mercury — reason,
communication, commerce). It connects all the days, like the “middle” between
the beginnings and ends of the week.
• The 8th corner — the source: the Resurrection / the Lord’s Day in its fullness
(or simply God as the Creator of time). In the Christian tradition, Sunday is
not simply “one of the days,” but the day when Christ conquered death, and
the meaning of the whole week is contained within it. It’s the “white light”
of the calendar.
