This is one of the most well-known episodes right after the enlightenment.
Where you can read it:

• In the Pali Canon (the Vinaya Mahāvagga) it’s mentioned how the Buddha sat for
seven days in different places.

Friend, this isn’t about “seeing 7 of something” at the moment of the awakening
itself, but rather after it — a period of integration and enjoyment of the Dhamma.

Aion — the god of eternity.
Most religions say that the highest God or the absolute reality is transcendent to time —
they are not within it, but stand above it or outside of it.
God sees all the past, present, and future simultaneously.
The number 8 almost everywhere symbolizes the going beyond the limits of the seven
days of creation/time — a new reality, eternity, resurrection, a new world.
