“There, I have no private life, my boundaries are being violated on the internet.”
Well, that’s not so important. I’m talking about something else. I’m talking
precisely about where it’s bad: when naive, kind people are zombified. When the
product they don’t want is palmed off on them. These, let’s say, marketplaces.
I don’t support them. I believe that it’s wrong. It’s clear that from the position
of an entrepreneur, a businessman, it’s of course wonderful that you, having
billions, can hire some specialist psychologists, or scientists and programmers,
and create such an algorithm that when you order yourself toothpaste with a
brush on a marketplace, an online platform, some picture quickly pops up for
you and you’re offered some further product that you won’t be able to resist. It’s
of course wonderful that they can do such a thing and invent such algorithms.
But if one doesn’t forget about morality and ethics and so on, then one mustn’t
mock ordinary people this way. If you’re above them, then you mustn’t abuse this.
You mustn’t abuse people’s naivety. I believe that it’s wrong. And for the sake of
what? For the sake of some money, for the sake of figures. It’s not nice. And people
take on loans, microloans for the sake of goods and forever sit now on all sorts
of marketplace platforms. And likewise, consequently, the news that’s made, all
the news resources, magazines, and newspapers. They don’t make propaganda of
good vibrations, don’t make propaganda of examples of a good life, as was once
done, in certain times. Right now they make only what will hold people’s attention
more. And the more news about violence, conflicts, and some kind of filth, the
more they have of what? Views. And so all these magazines, online magazines,
media, all these platforms, they now publish only the dark stuff, because only the
dark stuff is read and watched. But I’m an aware person. Why should I have to see
this? I’m not a zombie. I’m not in the herd. And I see how all this negative stuff is
demonstrated to the herd and awakens in people even more fear and aggression.
Is that conscionable? It seems to me it’s unconscionable. And this must later
be justly… Let’s say, justly everyone will have to bear punishment — those who
did this and treated society and people this way. This is not good. And likewise,
consequently, the film industry, television. It’s as if everywhere some algorithm
of aggression and violence has begun to dictate, even to performers, even to some
strong people, what they should film, what films and series. And even films and
series are now made not the ones that the performer, director, or scriptwriter
liked, but what will sell better at the box office, what will bring more money.
