Chapter 36. Science Fiction and Fairy Tales
Today is June 15th, 2026. The other day I was talking with Big Alexander. And
again it’s so interesting how everything comes together in parallel out of different
details, out of different signs, from different directions. This past week I’ve been
communicating with my friend from Los Angeles, who has spent his whole life
doing filming: he shot music videos for artists, he also shot films and, naturally,
all sorts of commercial weddings and events. He also recently photographed
Mark Zuckerberg’s birthday. And he got so tired of all this commerce that he
decided to make cartoons. And he decided to make cartoons through artificial
intelligence. And he showed me what he had made, he’s still learning, as it were,
training, and I was pleasantly surprised. That is, if I hadn’t been told, I wouldn’t
even have realized that this was made by one of ours, some compatriot, and that
it was made through artificial intelligence. I would really have thought it was a
quality cartoon, like there are such cartoons as “Coco” or “Soul,” that is, exactly as
if it were the same quality. But here’s what’s curious: that same week, while I was
communicating with him, discussing his creative career and all these matters, —
and he keeps proposing that we shoot a film together based on my book, and I
tell him: “Wait, don’t rush for now,” — and also that same week I say to another
friend: “Listen, maybe you should start studying artificial intelligence, so as to
make animation through it. After all, it will come in handy. After all, if in the
future I do screen adaptations of my books, these won’t be only films and series,
possibly these could even be cartoons or, possibly, in that animated format these
could be some kind of scientific programs.” And I’d been discussing this all week
long, and then the other day we get on a call with Big Alexander. And he tells
me that I absolutely must write children’s books. And I must write them so that
afterwards cartoons can be made from the children’s books. Because there’s a gap
here, that there are no cartoons for children. And those people who are engaged
in cartoons now, they are all greedy, venal, and the Spirit cannot enter into them.
And through all these people who are engaged in cartoons now, the Spirit cannot
make cartoons for children. And that I absolutely must, since I am such a conduit,
gather a team. And, being in the Spirit, first write children’s books, and then make
cartoons from those books. And this is absolutely necessary, so that the Spirit
makes these books and cartoons for children, so that the children don’t perish
in the future. And he explained this to me very seriously indeed. Very seriously.
