standing up for your rights and demanding justice isn’t good. That is, someone might start off as an absolute doormat, and life immerses them in that world so they can learn to defend themselves. But then comes the next stage, where you’re supposed to understand that defending yourself in such a way is no longer necessary, and you need to stop reacting, to accept that everything is the will of God, so to speak. Here lies a very important point. It’s like this: if a person has animal instincts — at the first stage of human development — and they can’t control them, then they need to activate their mind to take control over those animal instincts, and so the mind becomes a good thing. But there are people who have developed to a stage where their mind is so overtrained, so dominant, that they’ve become like cold, inhuman robots, and for them, the mind is no longer enough — they urgently need to activate the heart to begin thinking about others, to feel conscience, and to find balance in all things. That is the path of development. And it’s the same with justice. When you’re a complete doormat and people take advantage of you, that’s exactly when you end up in the underworld, where you begin to demand justice and fight against all the filth that constantly provokes you — and you’re constantly fighting back. And then this sense of justice starts to grow within you, and it needs to be cultivated. But later, in the future, you must understand it so deeply that you become free of it — that’s what I’m going through now. That now, any parasite that exists, you are not supposed to teach them, not supposed to raise or correct them, not supposed to stick their nose into the wrongdoing they’ve committed and give them a moral lecture that they were wrong — in other words, you mustn’t do that. And it turns out, as I understand it, that when you overcome this final trial — when you defeat this Mara, defeat these provocations — you move to some next level, where you simply no longer even see these provocations, as if your value system has shifted so much, and you are so much more with God, that it no longer matters to you. A taxi driver might say, “You owe three times the fare,” and take you in circles, and whereas before, when you were still discovering justice, you would’ve noticed and spoken up, feeling the need to prove something and fight him and win in the end. And you seem to be right, because you overcame evil — because that evil tried to deceive you — but now it’s as if there should be this next level: the taxi driver tricks you, drives in circles, asks for three times the fare, and you smile and give him four times more instead of
