All these things started happening with the people around me. And I didn’t know how to react to it, because if I hadn’t known it was Mara, I probably would have reacted. But I was warned, and I looked at it all as if through glass. Only, you see, I wasn’t looking through the glass at a beautiful aquarium with fish, but at all kinds of creeps, lizards, snakes, parasites crawling around — all of them wanting to bite me, but they were behind the glass — it looked kind of like that. What else? In this underworld, one thing I noticed specifically about the people who live there is that they have crazy anger and hatred — those who live there. There are different levels, maybe that was the level of hell. But there are people who really suffer there. They see nightmares everywhere, they hate everything, and everything annoys them. These people exist in that underworld. Also, in the underworld, naturally, there is a completely different reaction to everything. There is no light there, so if you turn on some harsh rock music, it doesn’t irritate you, even though, from old memory — before you entered the underworld — you remember that you didn’t like that kind of music at all and it gave you headaches. But when you are in the underworld, you begin to like that music. All the horror movies that scared you before, when you’re in the underworld, you’re not afraid to watch them. And now I felt such a contrast with the fact that earlier, when the series “Game of Thrones” appeared, I tried to watch it about five times and each time I turned it off during the very first episode. Year after year, friends, guys, acquaintances asked me why I didn’t watch “Game of Thrones,” and I said, “Listen, I don’t know, but why do you like it? I turned on an episode, and right away everyone is naked. Some kind of pornography. I thought maybe it was just one episode. I fast-forwarded, watched other episodes. It was all just naked — men with men, or everyone undressed. Is this why you watch this series?” And I couldn’t, imagine, I honestly couldn’t watch this series because of that. But when I was still in the underworld, I turned on this series and was able to watch it. And through all that which used to scare and irritate me — all that pornography and guts shown in the series — I still got enjoyment from the series, at least from the smart dialogues, strategic thinking, all that, wars, many interesting things I still saw in the series despite the constant focus on pornography and murders. And when you live in the underworld and watch such a series, it doesn’t scare you at all. Because when you’re in darkness,
