And then you go on living further, and again living, and again living. And the most interesting thing is that later you can again die and not notice it, and once more enter into another life. This too is curious. And what is also curious is how it is determined into which life you fall — whether there is some sequence or not. Or whether it is as they tell about hell and paradise, that the way you behaved in the previous life is what determines the next one. Quite possibly. Perhaps for this reason, a person, let us say, until 25 lived in a certain way and behaved very well, and when at 25 he died, though he does not know it, it is as though a cycle begins for him that feels very successful. And suddenly, after 25, until 30, everything is so good for him that it is astonishing; everything he dreamed of before. And why? Because he died, entered paradise, and it is as though the system begins to produce, to give, and to do everything he had dreamed of and wanted. Then again it is as though he dies in paradise... But this is, theoretically speaking, perhaps later it will be necessary to call all of this in a somewhat different and more correct way. Well, suppose that then he dies again at 30 and ends up in some other world. Then, in this world, if he behaved badly, he dies and falls into hell, and he does not know it. And again, what I am describing now does not concern all people, of course. However loud it may sound, it concerns special people, what I am describing. That is, one must take into account the fact that there are people to whom it is not given to know what I told about in “Alternative History,” it is not given to them to see it. And not even that it is not given to them to know or see, but that such things simply do not happen to them at all. That there really is a large number of people who always live only in one world, and that is all. They have no rebirths, no changes of worlds, no cycles. There are people who are specifically determined always to remain in some one world. There they live forever, like hostages, like in a computer game level that they can never pass, and they stay stuck at that one level. There are such people.

And it turns out that “Alternative History,” the novel, is a preparation and an explanation of how our world is arranged. And so that humanity and people may understand that the world of heaven, the world of earth, and the world of the underworld — all of this is here on our planet.
