this truly is the world of heaven, this is luck. The world of heaven is when you are “without mind,” but someone from outside protects you everywhere in everything, as if all around you are only guardian angels, this is how the world works. Well, I talked with Big Alexander, and he said that I absolutely must be in the world of heaven and in the world of earth, and that in both I must be king. And I said to him:

— Alexander, I have such a feeling, as if I already devoted an entire book, described, told everything in Volume Four about the underworld. And in Volume Five I told everything about the world of the dead, the afterlife. That is, it turns out, this is evening and night. Now I am telling about morning, but there has been no day. And it turns out that the next book, the next volume of “Alternative History” — what, the next theme will be the material world, the earth?
— Well yes, quite possibly, yes.

And so he said such strange things — he seemed to say yes, that now I am telling about the world of heaven, and afterward I must reveal everything about the world of earth through my novel. But he said:

— You will be showing and telling people how, because of their thoughts, cataclysms happen in the world, and how they must watch over their thoughts. — And at that time, it seemed that a flood was expected in Petersburg. — Soon it will come, it seems today there will be a flood, everyone is afraid. But I will now clear the trash on my plot, put everything away like this, and there will be no flood.

And it seemed to me that what I was describing even back in Volume Two of “Alternative History” — about how people live on Olympus, and that this is the world of heaven, the Kingdom of Heaven — that somehow certain deeds, these deeds can in this way influence the world. Imagine? After all, it was not for nothing that when I recently asked the Mystic-Old-Man about my relative, about my grandmother, who is a Korol, he said that she is a guardian. It feels as if everything depends on where she is. And on where I am.
